hangzhou Xia was born in Harbin in 2008. He has held three cello solo concerts at the Harbin Concert Hall since 2021. In May 2021, he performed "Lalo Cello Concerto in D Minor" with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Central Conservatory of Music at the Chengdu City Concert Hall. ;2 In January 2023, in the finals of the 11th Tchaikovsky International Youth Music Competition, he performed "Elgar Cello Concerto in E minor" with the Leningrad State Symphony Orchestra at the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall in Russia. While studying music performance, he loves music creation very much and has published four original music works so far.

Among them, the chamber music work "Dance of Nature" premiered in July 2019 at the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall with Shanghai Symphony Orchestra performers. He has participated in many performances with symphony orchestras, including the Central Conservatory of Music Youth Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Harbin Symphony Orchestra, and the Russian Leningrad Oblast State Symphony Orchestra.

Xia Shangzhou learned piano at the age of 5, and was inspired to learn cello by Teacher Shi Ying at the age of 7. Later, he studied under Professor Liu Xinxin. In 2021, he was admitted to the Middle School Affiliated to the Central Conservatory of Music with the first place and studied under the famous cellist and Professor Namu La.
